[poppler] Printing of certain PDF files does not work with "fit-to-page" because of wrong BoundingBox values in the PostScript

I saw that Albert released poppler 0.38 with the comment  * pdftocairo: 
fix fit to page transformation.
With this update not all problems are solved.
The patch which fixes all fit-to-page problems was reviewed and updated 
by Adrian but never pushed.

Could you please explain why the patch does not get pushed?
