Running Pulseaudio 0.9.15 on a CLFS system
2.6.29.5-090720 #1 SMP PREEMPT x86_64 GNU/Linux
have no problems with Skype (default-fragments=8, default-fragment-size-
msec=5)
Upgrading to 2.6.30.4 Skype emits Crakling sounds to the point of being
pure noise, and eventually one has to kill pulseaudio's server.
Seems to be a pulseaudio issue since playing sounds directly through alsa
(1.20.0 version of library and 1.19.0 utils) doesn't show any problems.
