Comment:

 Well the real reason for this ticket was related to the order of calls
 during the initialisation phase that prevented proper initialisation. This
 issue itself has been correctly solved and thus to ensure the bug tracking
 system contains an accurate representation of the evolution of the
 development, this ticket itself should be resolved. You may have the same
 hardware but equally you don't seem to be affect by this specific problem
 and this is (currently) just a troubleshooting adventure.

 I'd suggest that as well as seeking help on the mailing list, you should
 discuss things with the maintainer of the packages you are using. The
 packager is the best person to include additional fixes and patches in the
 packages for you and to help you test the fixes proposed.

 So until someone is actually able to comment about this specific fix for
 this specific problem, I'll keep this ticket closed. If this specific fix
 does not address the issue, it can be reopened.
