those locks in hook plugin prevent you running

aplay -D iec958:CARD=CA0106 stereo48000.wav

and 

arecord -D iec958:CARD=CA0106 test.wav


at same time


those message "Cannot lock ctl elem" should disaapear when you can playback and
capture iec958 at same time ?
