Okay, I see, that sounds good. But would it also allow me to do such simple
things as to lowering the bass a bit as described in the previous post for
example?

Would there be any chance that fixing the equalizer or implementing high-end AV
receiver audio correction into PulseAudio could be made a higher priority on
the list of things to do for the PulseAudio maintainers?
