So now I have all 3 machines running the rawhide versions of
pulseaudio-* and pavucontrol and paprefs, all options enabled, and I'm
still not seeing a single remote machine's audio device. Starting to get
dismayed.

Are there any special setting required by SELinux or iptables? Avahi?
