Alsmost:
g-v-c is gnome-volume-control.

g-v-c allows moving between devices too, but its kinda
all-or-nothing. It will hopefully be extended one day, though.
pavucontrol is a playground for fun stuff, with a not-so-polished
UI. g-v-c is the software that is full supported and intended for the
normal end-user.
