Yep.

I don't think I fixed them, since I don't know how to fix them :^) hence my
asking for how to configure pulseaudio :^)

Here is what I get, but it's the same as before:

$ aplay -Dpulse .1.wav
ALSA lib pulse.c:229:(pulse_connect) PulseAudio: Unable to connect:
Connection refused

aplay: main:590: audio open error: Connection refused

so no server there...

/var/log/syslog then contains

Apr  6 19:24:30 slick pulseaudio[3775]: module.c: module-detect is
deprecated: Please use module-udev-detect instead of module-detect!
Apr  6 19:24:30 slick pulseaudio[3775]: module-console-kit.c:
GetSessionsForUnixUser() call failed:
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name
org.freedesktop.ConsoleKit was not provided by any .service files
Apr 6 19:24:30 slick pulseaudio[3775]: module.c: Failed to load module
"module-console-kit" (argument: ""): initialization failed.
Apr  6 19:24:30 slick pulseaudio[3775]: main.c: Module load failed.
Apr 6 19:24:30 slick pulseaudio[3775]: main.c: Failed to initialize daemon.
Apr  6 19:24:30 slick pulseaudio[3773]: main.c: Daemon startup failed.

If I just try

$ pulseausio
W: module.c: module-detect is deprecated: Please use module-udev-detect
instead of module-detect!
E: module-console-kit.c: GetSessionsForUnixUser() call failed:
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name
org.freedesktop.ConsoleKit was not provided by any .service files
E: module.c: Failed to load  module "module-console-kit" (argument: ""):
initialization failed.
E: main.c: Module load failed.
E: main.c: Failed to initialize daemon.

so the problem seems to come from DBus (?) but why and where??

> Somebody can probably help you from there.

I keep my fingers crossed :^)
