The output of
pacmd list

is generally the most useful for debuging things like this.

Post it here (or via a pastebin on IRC) and someone will hopefully be
able to advise better. A screenshot of the KDE System Settings priority
list GUI might help ensure that it's hooked up to PA properly too.
