[pulseaudio-discuss] ignore_dB for a specific device

 Thanks for the suggestion.
However, after I sent the email to the list, I realized that using ignore_dB causes another problem.
 It solves the mute/unmute problem but then the volume cannot be adjusted any longer. The volume slide moves as I use volup and voldown buttons but the volume does not actually change.
Any idea?
