[pulseaudio-discuss] loadable module symbol table issue

This is perhaps a naive question, but here goes:

Whenever we try to use some standard library functions (such as open(), 
read() etc.) from within a loadable module, this happens:

E: [pulseaudio] module.c: Failed to load module "module-bluez5-device": 
symbol "pa__init" not found.

Any clues?
