Hi again, sorry for my soooo late response I was crazily busy.

I tested disabling the vioserial driver and now effectively it is able to 
suspend properly. Reenabling it as expected reverts the problem back.

Another issue I dectected (I don't know if related) is that when Windows 
7 turns off the "monitor" after a period of time th e VM crashes, disabling 
PM facilities, i.e., instructing windows not to suspend the monitor solves 
the issue.

You can also uninstall the vioserial driver, this will break the agent, but it
has caused similar issues in the past.
