I am unable to launch RemoteViewer 0.5.7 for Mac OS X on Mavericks 10.9.4 if
language is set to non-US. It's not effective for all languages, but for
example with my native language (ka_GE) it didn't work. RemoteViewer works fine
with other ones or when launched via root user.

easy to reproduce: just set your language options to "Georgian" as preffered an
Georgia as region. Logout. Login. Then run:


when launched from user with ka_GE locale and preferences for Georgia:
