This is the correct way. I was blindly following Gerd
reasoning from b718f59d4617067c589dae020d14bf4327e2fa62, which appears
to be invalid, since bumping age always should go with current.

This is also stated differently in the documentation:
"Also note that age must be less than or equal to the current interface number"

I don't know how we can fix it :-/
