Can you add '-chardev file,id=seabios,path=/some/place/seabios.log
-device isa-debugcon,iobase=0x402,chardev=seabios' to the qemu command
line and post the log?

Also the qemu command line produced by libvirt (logs are in
/var/log/libvirt/qemu) ?
