I don't know if is worth mentioning but the statistics file is no more
created by default (you have to add the REDS_STATISTICS definition to CFLAGS).
This can be a visible change although probably this features was not that used...

Also there is a minor GStreamer improvement preventing the quality
of the video to go too low.
