We should open probably a new thread.
Even auto generating messages.h you still have the problem that
a file (enums.h) generated in spice-common is in git of spice-protocol.
I actually don't remember all issues and considerations/proposal
we did... if I remember there are a bit of circular dependencies
between the two repositories and it's not well defined what is
protocol and what common.
