Hi,
Keeping the chat as you might enjoy then, in order to merge this

I'm asking you to add information about "abstract USB objects and
internal API" that are being introduced to the commit log and a
short intro on their role.

I'd rather we export those three functions instead of using
SpiceUsbBackendChannelInitData. You just create wrappers again to
them in usb-backend. I don't think it is a good effort mainly
because usb-backend and channel-usbredir are bounded.
Channel-usbredir is a SpiceChannel so you could even remove
_get_queue_size() and _is_channel_ready() if compromised a bit
the design and have those functions there as they'll be useless
in channel-usbredir (...)
If we had different users for spice_usb_backend_channel_new() I
wouldn't mind.
So, please G_GNUC_INTERNAL on those and remove those wrappers in
usb-backend.c

spice_usb_backend_channel_up() calls
usbredirhost_write_guest_data() so IMHO a better name is needed
for this wrapper. Perhaps spice_usb_backend_write_to_guest() or
something.

An utility function from usb-backend to make an error to GError
would be good fit I think, which would remove this code here as
well.

I'd move the ch->usbredirhost to its own check, prior to

Please, don't user parameters like that even if previous code was
