A: You can sync all of the 4  object types supported by opensync (notes, todos, calendar, events) with any other backend given the plugin for this other backend is working. I leave the cases to your imagination but the number is definitely higher then the number covered by SyncEvolution.
Note: the quality is another issue :-)

I understood this already the first time, but also the links you've provided were not helpful, or I did not manage it in about 20min to get the code and gave it up. I really tried though.
