Just keep in mind that the people that said this "is too complex, or 
bloated, or does too many things, or has too many dependencies."
either:

- Have never really learn how things work ..OR

- are what we call unixbeards, or unix traditionalists. in this case, 
move along,they are impervious to reason, evidence or arguments, just 
like talking to a religious fundamentalist.
