That pre-supposes you're using DHCP, which generally you would not use for datacenter servers.

That's the audience for this question.

But...yes...if you're using DHCP, that generally addresses the NTP configuration item.

AKA:

_ntp._udp.<domain>

It's not supported as far as I know, and personally I don't immediately see the purpose: if the domain name comes from DHCP then you can directly publish the NTP server address via DHCP, too (and I *think* networkd + timesyncd supports requesting that DHCP option).



If this is not currently supported, where should I submit a feature request for this?

The systemd GitHub repository is where feature requests usually go.
