You should be able to export from Inkscape, or convert the PNGs using
The GIMP or Photoshop.

The alternative is to use Alpha PNG from
http://www.tobymiller.com/?postid=21 - I'm successfully using it for
some sites here, and it's just a case of running some javascript from
the onload event.
