           Summary: Support setting Location globally
           Product: Telepathy
           Version: git master
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: tp-spec
        AssignedTo: telepathy-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: will.thompson at collabora.co.uk
         QAContact: telepathy-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        Depends on: 24104

Bug 24104 proposes an API for setting presence across all accounts. It would be
nice to support setting Location across all accounts in a similar way, allowing
a location service to call a single method when the user's location changes,
rather than having to monitor for new connections on which to set the current
location constantly.

(In a perfect world we could also set aliases, avatars, and so on across all
accounts. Avatars are not so easy. Let's start small.)
