Hi list,

here is a new release of telepathy-idle, your favorite IRC connection
manager for Telepathy.

The most dramatic change is that Idle now uses the telepathy-glib
library. Major parts of the code base have been rewritten. At least
version 0.5.10 of telepathy-glib is required.

Changes in brief:
- Fully conforming to Telepathy spec version 0.15.3
- Use the utility data structures, functions and base classes from
telepathy-glib. This has the benefit that bugs fixed in the base code
don't have to be fixed separately in Idle.
- Many memory leaks have been fixed
- Completely rewritten IRC protocol parser - cleaner, faster and
stabler than the old one
- Improved IRC channel mode handling
- New optional debug subsystem similar to the one in Gabble
(configurable with IDLE_DEBUG and IDLE_PERSIST environment variables)
- The functionality of the Connection.Interface.Renaming has been
updated according to recent Telepathy spec changes
- IRC nicknames are now presented through the
Connection.Interface.Aliasing interface in their correct form (case)
- Improved CTCP handling with proper escaping

The tarball can be found in the usual place:
