This is a major development release with a new multicast protocol.

Tarball: http://telepathy.freedesktop.org/releases/telepathy-salut/telepathy-salut-0.1.6.tar.gz
Signature: http://telepathy.freedesktop.org/releases/telepathy-salut/telepathy-salut-0.1.6.tar.gz.asc
Darcs repository: http://projects.collabora.co.uk/darcs/telepathy/telepathy-salut
Darcs tag: "telepathy-salut 0.1.6"

Highlights:

* The protocol used for reliable multicast chatrooms has been
redesigned and much improved. It now has a name (Clique version 1),
a robust group-membership protocol, and large message fragmentation.

* The implementation of Clique is also much better; in particular, it no
  longer aborts on protocol errors.

* Tubes, a generic transport for collaborative applications:
  * previously we supported multi-user D-Bus tubes, where the collaboration
is in a MUC (chat room) which behaves a lot like the D-Bus daemon
  * we now also support multi-user stream tubes, where one user in a MUC
exports a Unix, IPv4 or IPv6 server socket and other users can connect
    to it

* Improved support for the OLPC Activity and Buddy abstractions

* The connection manager is now installed to $libexecdir - distributors
  please take note!

* A man page and some protocol documentation

plus all the usual bug fixes.

D-Bus tubes require libdbus-1 version 1.0.2 or better; if you compile
against an older version of libdbus you won't get D-Bus tubes support.

Full Darcs changes are too long for this e-mail, but are available from
http://projects.collabora.co.uk/~smcv/telepathy-salut-0.1.5-0.1.6.txt.

Regards,
    Simon
