Congratulations, you just fucked up your nice sane system... Please don't do
silly things like this and if you still do, please don't recommend other people
to do the same.

As a Debian Telepathy packager (Ubuntu syncs their packaging from Debian) and
Telepathy developer i can concur that the pacakages are basically unpatched.
