[Telepathy] "off-the-record" support in telepathy

Hi,

I am writing a proposal for Gsoc 2009, for KDE, which is on telepathy and
kde integration.
the idea is to create a telepathy watcher, which will be a stand alone
application capable of logging all text chats done using telepathy
supportable IM clients, into the Akonadi server.
An interesting feature of the Telepathy watcher is that it should hv the
ability to go off the record(OTR) for a particular channel, that the user
selects.
I tried to find info about "off the record" support in telepathy, but only
info i could find was that, a second user application has to be written for
OTR to work with an telepathy supportable IM clients.
Any info will be appreciated. :)
