Hi :
Earlier in the year David Leeming, who works with OLPC in the Solomon
Islands, and I were looking at running Audacity on the OLPC- XO. We looked
into implementing the share feature with Audacity. I asked around especially
at the Sugar-Devel and
Audacity-Devel<http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=1282494670.10333.35.camel@localhost&forum_name=audacity-devel>
mailing lists
where I got some
feedback<http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=1282494670.10333.35.camel@localhost&forum_name=audacity-devel>.
At the time it felt like it was going to be difficult, Audacity it seemed
was not the ideal linux application to attempt a 'sugarization', which made
full use of the XO's powerful collaboration ability. I hadn't really thought
about it again until I came across this web page talking about the
underpinning technology behind the sugar share activity feature:

Would it be possible to re-open this discussion with Telepathy developers,
who might have a clearer understanding of the "telepathy tubes" that would
be needed to share an Audacity session in Sugar?
Merry Christmas!!
