In practise all CMs that implement tubes use dbus-glib, which will never send q
because there isn't a GType for it :(..

I wouldn't be opposed to changing the spec to match current reality, although
it would also be good to have QtDbus a bit more liberal here as there might be
other cases where we do have two CMs sending different types.
