I had lots of KDE packages updated yesterday with 'urpmi
--auto-select' (banal... ) and after that I installed all the rpms made by
Utsumi-san again (couldn't resist). Now, after couple of times of reboots,
uim and qt-immodules is still working fine in kwrite, kmail, korganizer,
konqueror etc. without any of the problems I experienced the other day!

The only thing is, if I change input method from uim-anthy to uim-py, I often
get squares [] in candidate windows. I wonder if qt's "powerful font
substitution feature" doesn't work there...? Bitstream Vera Sans is my
default font in KDE and I have Osaka (Japanse) set for its first substitute
font, followed by Bitstream Cyberbit (unicord). It seems I have to change
the order of substitute fonts as well when I switch input methods...

Apart from that, I'm enjoying uim and qt-immodule. It's very nice! Many
thanks to Ohta-san and other developers.

Yukiko
