Here is the updated result of "time make" in uim-*/scm directory.

* 2.55 sec with 1.3.1.
* 12.51 sec with 1.4.0-alpha (without any option).
* 7.14 sec with 1.4.0-alpha (with --disable-backtrace).
* 6.91 sec with 1.4.0-alpha (with --disable-backtrace
--disable-internal-definitions)
* 7.39 sec with 1.4.0-alpha (with --disable-backtrace
--disable-internal-definitions --enable-storage=fatty)

"--diable-internal-definitions and --enable-storage=fatty" only make a
slight difference. SigScheme is still slower than SIOD, but it may be
OK as "--disable-backtrace" is tolerable for normal use on iBook G4
800MHz.
