thanks for the quick response.

however there is another problem,
i noticed that i used to be able to chose xim from the context menu,
now the IM selection is gone,
maybe there another file,

i agree that install to gtk prefix keeps free from all this stuff,
just incase anyone want to know why uim is not working as expected,
and this workd for me, though not as perfect.
