Very weird.

I made a very simple cmake hello world and uploaded to 
http://people.freedesktop.org/~jrfonseca/cmake-msvc/ .  Run build.cmd. 
http://people.freedesktop.org/~jrfonseca/cmake-msvc/build.log is what I 
got here.
