[waimea] Freaky: Waimea 0.5.0 seems to interruppt network connection

Hello,

time ago, i used waimea 0.4, then switched to xfce4 and now tried waimea
cvs. Looks very nice, my old WM of choice!

But I've a freaky, but bothering problem:

On two machines (both i386, debian testing), waimea seems to interrupt
the network connection after about 15 min of use - and no ifup eth0
brings back the connect, i've no idea why.  The only thing I can do is
reboot. Other WMs haven't that problem. Maybe Dave or someone else has
an idea of what the problem could be or what information I should
provide.
