While this seems like a good idea long term, I don't think it is in the way of
us getting better draw performance with the 1:1 mapping. My crappy hack did a
48mb map and rotated through the items and it had very little effect.
Although, once the frame clock stuff is more inline with weston, maybe it will
be a bit more obvious that is needed too?
