I've never seen this before:

_XSERVTransSocketUNIXCreateListener: ...SocketCreateListener() failed
_XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: server already running

Is kwin not implementing the Xorg lock file?

Xorg has fundamentally the same implementation AFAIK.

Unfortunately the log does not show the Xwayland command line, I would still
like to see if that explicitly enables TCP/IP support under kwin.
