Using Wayland on VirtualBox

Hello,

I am no Linux-nativ so please be patient if it seems trivial:

I have successfully build wayland now (thanks to http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/wayland-devel/2010-November/000121.html ) after upgrading to ubuntu "natty" but get the error 

#./compositor
DRI2: failed to connect, DRI2 version: 0.0
failed to create compositor

Could it be a problem with the virtualbox graphics driver and if, there are a solution for to run wayland on VB?
