Thank you for the resources , I figured it out actually it was a stupid question . I have opened a merge request on the issue ( Support EGL_KHR_partial_update for performance )if you could check it .

you can run your modified version of Weston, then it has been
successful. If the compilation fails, then, well, it's failed, and the
