Questions about mmonitor

Hi, All,
Have 2 questions:
1. I'm using GNOME with Wayland on Gentoo and I have a touch screen on this
laptop
There is a sporadic mouse movement and clicks (without me interacting with
miuse) and a monitor picture is sporadically switching between workspaces.

I was told that it is a touch screen + Wayland and I have to switch to X11
to make it work.

Is there an anticipated time frame when it will be fixed?

2. Saving and restoring windows position- is it implemented all around? If
not - what is the plan?
