Seems to have been non-determinism in the test. On further inspection I
found the test passed sometimes. Might have been an interaction with
Xfake, as the couple of times I ran it against my X.org server it worked
fine. I added a couple of XSync calls in strategic places and I haven't
observed it failing since. This fix is in a revised patch on the earlier
tet_fork bug:
