[Xcb] Feature Request: Function "xcb_test_for_event"

Dear XCB Developers,

I had formulated an XCB-related question at:

It has now become a feature request, since the function I am seeking
does not exist in XCB (yet).

Would you be so kind to consider my feature request for XCB 1.10?
