The xdg-app story

I explicitly try to avoid using the term container around xdg-app
because it confuses things a lot. Containers as the are typically used
on the server side (docker, etc) are quite different, and I want to
avoid getting the impression that xdg-app and e.g. docker are
competitors, or do the same thing (even though they share a lot of
kernel technology).
