A .flatpak file is an app bundle, you can install it with:
 flatpak install --bundle the-file.flatpak
However, for it to work it has to find the runtime, so unless that has
been added, do thisfirst:
 flatpak remote-add gnome https://sdk.gnome.org/gnome.flatpakrepo
(This repository has the gnome and freedesktop runtimes)
