Compering glib with KDE is a bit off ;-)

The free desktop effort would benifit if stuff both q* and g* was ok if:

 * It did not depend on the widgetset / desktop environment

 * It was fairly small and equal to other independent librarys.

If everything invented by kde or gnome hackers shuld be automaticly 
baned... that's silly!
