Please stop this thread.  It has gone well beyond usefulness or reason and has 
certainly expended more effort than it's worth.

Obviously both terms have some set of subscribers and in fact we've just 
talked about English, which is a bit narrow anyway.

People will find this in either place.  I vote that we leave it alone and shut 
up.
