Would like to join a project

Hi

Like to join a project and will need some help in the beginning.

A little introduction of myself: know little or more correct nothing
about linux. Did some reading but would like some action now. Is a SW
developer but have never worked with linux before so please behave, like
to start easy or more correct like to know what I am doing...

Would like to join the HAL project if possible? To be more specific
something that has a relation to Gnome and partly interfacing downwards
to the kernel if possible.

Expect to use approx. 10 hour on development weekly. Plus some study.
