it would be nice if contexts were shared as much as possible to create
seamless experiences, as we have done with the clipboard, mimetypes and
so-forth.
i think it should be up to the responsible nature of application developers to
collaborate on these things rather than shield them from having to. that
said, i believe it will eventually become important for FD.o to provide a
registry for various namespace usages mandated by the XDG specs.
