Status on x.org and Radeon tv support

Please pardon me if this is the wrong list (if so point me to the correct 
one). I have an Ati Radeon AIW 7500 and an copy of mandriva 2005le
(stock upgrade from lm10.1). My big problem is the upgrade broke my TV 
support (module theature.o does not load). Soo since the Gatos project is 
moving to getting into X.org <http://X.org>, i was wondering who is working 
on the X.org <http://X.org> end of the matter and does anybody know why-ish 
the break happened?

(and yes i am on the gatos list no help on that end and the one person that 
cares has zero time)
