Problems with xorg-x11

Hi.

I'm not sure if its the rigth place I write in now.

I have a Clarkconnect server, that is based on Fedora 2. I have 
installed xorg-x11 on it, as I couldn't get XFree86 downloaded.

If I run X from the prompt I get this:

The xorg-x11 I use is:

xorg-x11-6.7.0-11

On the server I can see a black screen with the X in it, and can move 
the X around with my cursor.
That should indicate, that the X server is running I think.

But if I want to compile the Icewm, I get the error, that X is not running.

How can I determine if it does ?.

What is wrong about the first part of the information I get when running 
X ?.
