No, not directly. Portland will obviously try to use as many shared 
specs/shared implementations as possible, but new specs are always 
implemented as part of the real desktop projects, not the Portland desktop 
adapter.

Since Wasabi will, as far as I understand, include a D-Bus API, there will be 
no need to create another D-Bus API for the same thing,  applikations can 
directly use the Wasabi D-Bus API.

Or in other words: things that already have a common API do not need an 
adapter to provide a common API :)
